The thick forest that sprawls southwest of Auschental City, crossed by the River Alder on its way to the lake at the woodland's heart. The main road curves wide around the entire forest to reach the mines, but hunters and those with business better kept private know the forest paths that cut straight south through the trees. It's dense enough to get lost in and quiet enough to hide whatever needs hiding, which suits some folk just fine.
