The main entrance to the Abbey district is a wide archway over the road, its facade adorned with intricate stonework depicting religious iconography. This is the home of the Abbey of the Allseeing and its seat of power.
A booth stands at one edge, typically staffed by a junior Overseer during the day and an Initiate at night.
Towering spires rise from the heart of the Abbey district, piercing the sky with their pointed peaks. The buildings are mostly constructed from sturdy, weathered stone. The main chapel serves as the central hub, with familiar stonework and engravings from the entrance archway. A large, ornate entrance, flanked by statues of revered figures, provides a solemn gateway into the Abbey's inner sanctum.
Within the Abbey's walls, wide courtyards and cloisters are adorned with statues, gardens, and fountains. These serene spaces offer respite from the bustling activities of the faithful, providing places for reflection and prayer. The sound of chanting and hymns often fills the air, creating an atmosphere of spiritual devotion.
The interiors of the Abbey buildings are a blend of opulence and simplicity. High ceilings with ornate arches give way to vast chambers, where candles flicker and religious artefacts are displayed with reverence. The walls are adorned with religious texts, paintings, and sculptures that tell tales of the Abbey's history and doctrine.

Narrow dimly candlelit corridors wind through the buildings, leading to hidden chambers, confessionals, and the quarters of the Abbey's devout members.
The Abbey buildings also house training grounds and armouries, where the faithful hone their combat skills and receive instruction in the Abbey's martial disciplines. These areas, stark and functional, contrast with the tranquillity of the courtyards and serve as reminders of the Abbey's readiness to defend itself against any threats.
The Abbey is led by a High Overseer, who directs all of the Abbey's activities. Under the High Overseer, the Vice Overseer serves as upper leadership and is in charge of ensuring the faith and safety of the city and the surrounding region.
The Abbey is also divided between the all-male Overseers and the all-female Oracular Order, which is cloistered in convents and tasked with interpreting prophecies to guide the Abbey in rooting out darkness. The head of the Oracular Order is called the High Oracle, and is subservient to the High Overseer, but the Order exerts enormous influence on the entire Abbey through its missives. Initiates are the most junior Overseers, trainees who rarely leave their enclaves.
